and we will grow in
full expression of our
thoughts towards one another -
these inkling seeds that root
deep into our earthen minds,
tenderly peeking up and out
into Rain Showers, Clasping Sunbeams
and Stretching Gusts of Wind

My Love, I have walked too long,
too hard, on rocks, thorns and
crushed roses to simply let go
of Your hand, leave the presence
of the Shadow of Your Wing
and the secret Cleft of Your Rock
Lover of my soul, I cling to You
as You cling to me, wrestling,
on this side of heaven, with
the shadow within,

Beloved, I've walked
too long and too hard
to let go...

I don't have to worry
about the future or
even think about
tomorrow, but I
love how we fit
into this moment
of this day...

Missing you is like
the call of the ocean,
where my bones reach
out for you across endless
praire, stretch to the very
sense of you beyond
earth and sky

You are simple joys
embraced and delved into -
as cold water on a hot day,
spring showers for thirsting
green throats, a brief breeze
through a muggy evening, and holding
hands to know you are here;
Such simple joys to make
the life walk all the more
sweeter...

We journey soul-ward

with each gesture, word,

and gaze, tunnelling through

amusing moments, thought-provoking

passings, and landscaped laughter

to only conclude at each step

that we think same thoughts

speak same words,

and perhaps

share same

soul

Live freely, and be prepared to
embrace the pain when it mingles
with love given, and love freely
and meld that pain into those
embraces, into those smiles
and into slow motions of
inhaled and exhaled breaths

It was sudden, surprising quick
when your face appeared, and
your heart soon followed to
grapple with mine, knocking
at each other's pulsating door
wondering, would we let each
other in?

Beloved, You breath and my heart beats
You lovingly whisper to my bones and
a smile comes unfetched to the
corners of my face, and I live
laugh and love each day
for I am bound to the
threads of Your heart.
